Dianna George
Dianna George, founder and president of Soo Theatre Project, serves as dance instructor for STARS. She has taught dance in Detroit, Indianapolis, Petoskey, and the Sault area since 1967. Her dance career started with the Ypsilanti Area Dancers. She danced professionally as a principal with the Indianapolis Ballet. Her work as a choreographer has included over 100 shows, from ballet to musical theatre. Dianna has sung with various choruses and as a soprano soloist. She retired from professional theatre in 1986. She holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts, with concentration in theater, native studies, music and writing from Lake Superior State University and Algoma University.
